Black Eyed Susan – I grow these reliable autumn daisies in a pot at the front of my house. They hate getting dry, flopping at the first sign of drought and turning brown and crispy if they are not watered promptly.
Despite a few mishaps they seem happy enough (happy to seed into an adjacent pot and take over!). They make fantastic photographic subjects. I’m really pleased with these photos taken on a sunny day in mid August.
